Hello and welcome to my blog. I have opened this account primarily to raise awareness of this awful illness but also to help as many women as possible.
It all started back when I was 13 and started my periods. I was in so much pain. I honestly thought I was dying. I put up with it for a year or so before going to the GP who put me on the pill. My pain then dramatically reduced. Little did I know, it was just masking my condition.
If more was known about endometriosis back then, so much of my experiences over the past 15 years could have been avoided including mental health disorders, extreme pain, infertility and more.
